Jesus Christ Superstar is the dramatic retelling of the last seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazereth; originally highly controversial, the story takes a more psychological view of the events leading up to the crucifixion. This rock opera broke new ground when it opened in Broadway in 1971. Having been performed in 42 countries over the last 30 years, it still continues to rock the world.
This phenomenal musical, with well known songs including I Don't Know How to Love Him, Hosanna, Heaven on their Minds and Superstar, has just finished a huge arena tour. Now you have the chance to experience this dramatic and inspirational musical up close and in a more intimate venue.
Jesus Christ Superstar was last performed in Central London in 1996, and now this worldwide phenomenon is back for one week at the Bridewell Theatre.
