In the midst of our JCS excitement, we have two HUGE announcements for you all! Firstly, we are delighted to announce that Centre Stage has been nominated for a record four NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) awards: · 'Moby Dick! The Musical', our spring 2013 production, has been nominated for the Joe Putnam Award for Best Musical! · Two of our actors have also received individual nominations for Moby: - Rob Dorey has been nominated for the Ken Wirdnam Trophy for Best Male Character in a Musical or Operetta for his performance as Captain Ahab - Jo Taylor has been nominated for the Harvey Kesselman Comedy Award for her performance as Elijah. · Also, we're very proud of trustee and Marketing Manager Naomi Finn, who has been nominated for the Louise English award, which is for a young person (under 30) who has made an outstanding contribution to their society. Congratulations to all our nominees. The results will be announced on 6 July so we'll let you know how we do!
